UNRESTRICTED SURFACE SUPPLIED DIVER
Launch your career in commercial diving with FCDI’s flagship training program. The Unrestricted Surface Supplied Diver (USSD) course provides hands-on instruction in surface-supplied diving systems, underwater welding and burning, rigging, salvage operations, inspection techniques, and offshore diving procedures. Students graduate with the skills, certifications, and real-world experience needed to pursue opportunities throughout the commercial diving industry.

UNDERWATER BURNING SPECIALIST
Master one of the most in-demand skills in commercial diving. The Underwater Burning Specialist (UBS) program provides hands-on training in underwater cutting and burning techniques used in marine construction, salvage, repair, and demolition operations. Students gain practical experience with industry-standard equipment and procedures while developing the specialized skills needed for underwater burning projects throughout the commercial diving industry.

DIVER MEDIC TECHNICIAN
Become the lifeline when emergencies happen offshore. The Diver Medic Technician (DMT) program provides specialized training in dive medicine, emergency response, hyperbaric chamber operations, neurological assessments, and the treatment of diving-related injuries. This advanced certification is highly valued throughout the commercial diving industry and can help open doors to offshore, saturation, and remote diving opportunities. The DMT program is currently undergoing enhancements and is temporarily suspended pending future enrollment availability.

National Surface Supplied Diver
Start your journey into commercial diving with FCDI’s National Surface Supplied Diver (NSSD) Program. This hands-on course introduces students to surface supplied diving, underwater welding and burning, rigging, salvage operations, inspections, and dive safety procedures. Designed as an entry-level pathway into the industry, the NSSD program provides the foundational skills and practical experience needed to begin a career in commercial diving.
