UNRESTRICTED SURFACE SUPPLIED DIVER
We offer the highest level of international commercial diver certification. The prestigious, deep diving USSD Certification qualifies the holder to job opportunities worldwide as well as in the United States. With this certification the holder is qualified to the maximum recommended depth for commercial diving work on air, 165′.
These certifications can be earned successfully by the completion of the 26 weeks/ 900hr. course.
UNDERWATER BURNING SPECIALIST
Florida Commercial Diving Institute (FCDI) is proud to offer one of the most comprehensive and advanced Level 1 Underwater Burning Specialist (UBS) certifications available in the commercial diving industry today. Designed for divers looking to master the art and science of oxy-arc cutting underwater, this specialized training program goes far beyond the basics taught in standard dive programs.
Whether you’ve been introduced to underwater cutting during your USSD training or are seeking focused professional development, this stand-alone course is the next step to achieving true technical mastery in a high-demand skill set.
DIVER MEDIC TECHNICIAN
DMT training programs provide focused didactic and practical training that addresses recognition, stabilization and treatment of decompression and other diving-related injuries. These topics represent core curriculum, as does the necessary invasive skills that permit optimal medical management. Additional course content includes decompression procedures, chamber operations, and marine life injuries. Region-specific topics such as cold water diving and tropical diving issues, altitude diving, represent optional material.
